Yes, I'd say so. There was good Italian food, whiskey (which she and I shared with a smile), and cheesecake. Also her father and me talking about how much we miss my mother. By the time I got home, I was just about peopled-out, but she had a good time and felt well-celebrated.
So I call that a success.
Today I have a quiet house all to myself, so I will take some recharge time.
